Student Associations

Student Associations

Students are encouraged to join the UUNZ Student Associations.

The associations established by the students themselves serve as a bridge of communication between the school administration and the student body. It provides a source of cultural entertainment as well as a platform for students to develop close friendships and extend their networks to social organisations and the wider community which will help them integrate into the native culture of New Zealand.

The two active student associations at UUNZ are the Chinese & Korean Student Associations:

UNZ Chinese Student Association (UUCSA)

The Chinese student association consists of both current and alumni students in New Zealand and China.

The association is highly active and participates in a number of school related activities, community events and inter-school Chinese student association events such as the annual Mid-Autumn Auckland Chinese Student Associations Gala. It is also an active sponsor of various events/competitions around Auckland.

The association operates via two social media group chats on the Wechat application. There are currently over 300 active users.
